President Obama to Visit “The Golden Temple in Amritsar”

“The Golden Temple” Amritsar also know as Harmandir Sahib have a great place in Sikhs life. Yes, Sikhs most hard working people, despite minorities in number win whole world by its hard working nature.

Though it is Canada, USA, UK, Germany, France, Oceanic Sub continent or Africa Island, Every one praise this hard working race.

In 2009, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper visited the Sikh temple, the Golden Temple in Punjab, India, and was surprised to see the Sikh temple is covered with real gold. Premier of South Australia Mike Rann, his wife Sasha Carruozzo visited the Sikh temple, the Golden Temple on September, 2010 and shared a vegetarian meal, known as' langar at the community kitchen. Now, November 2010 Visit U.S. President Barack Obama, India with a visit to the temple of the Sikhs revered Golden Amritsar Punjab.

An American team has investigated the safety of the premises of the Sikh temple, the Golden Temple, Obama intends to visit. The U.S. team visited the marble at the edge of the pond water of the Golden Temple, the hall of Langar (community kitchen) of the Golden Temple, the Akal Takht, the highest Sikh temporal seat, VIP passage where Obama will travel within the Sikh temple, the Golden Temple, in addition to the Information Centre where vegetarian meals shared services would be available after paying obeisance. The U.S. team wanted to know how long Obama has to go inside the Golden Temple and what kind of security measures will be needed.

Sikh community in Punjab is prosperous and mobile is one of the largest communities in India who have migrated and settled in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Australia. Recently, Amardeep Singh, a Sikh dedicated and co-founder and program director of the Sikh Coalition, the largest Sikh organization Human Rights in the U.S. were taken to the Advisory Committee of the White House. Amardeep work also led to the formulation of regulations protecting the 1.1 million New York City public school students through harassment in schools. Obama has many followers in the United States that respect for the Sikh faith, Sikh philosophy, especially true name of God (Onkar). Recently, he showed kindness to the Sikh faith by organizing a large demonstration at the White House celebrating the first anniversary of Guru Nanak, founder of the Sikh faith. His plan to visit the Golden Temple and all are seen as a gesture of goodwill towards the Sikhs, who form a powerful economic and political community in the U.S. Furthermore, Amritsar is at the border with Pakistan and it will be a strong message from the President to all of South Asia by visiting Amritsar, 10 km from the border with Pakistan.
